objective of jobs
•process development engineer for foil lamination and trim technology
•develop complex process technology; further develop existing complex process technology with main focus foil lamination and for trim technologies
principle activities
•adaption of development and production topics in process development foil and trim technologies (e.g. foil with tpo, pvc, (thermoplastic foils), foam foils, design foils carbon fiber, coated foil with the necessary glue technology (example hotmelt), films, trim materials leather, fabric, etc.) according to sep guideline.
•creation and further development of documentation (e.g. process data acquisition, mind map, validation plan, continues data recording during the development phase.
•responsibility in process development for foil lamination as main focus and trim technology with main tasks (e.g., guide component design for design to process, foil and trim pattern development, feasibility studies, build prototype samples, build concept samples, process validation, support tooling development with process input, definition of process, evaluation of pi's for approval/disapproval, participation on expert level for dfmea and pfmea, cae simulation of foil process, etc.). vacuum and press lamination and partial foil lamination.
job and work requirements
•professional/graduate education (experienced professional) usually acquired through a bachelor’s degree or professional certification with a few (two to three) years of experience in the related field (proficient in a technical, scientific or specialized field requiring an understanding of a body of theoretical knowledge).
•good practical working method and material feeling for foils, like tpo, pvs, design foils ultra carbon with necessary glue technology (hotmelt coating) as main focus. deep know ledge about foil, grounds about leatherette, leather and textile at chinese market, 1 – 3 years’ experience in lamination process requested.
•know ledge about standard injection molding materials pc, abs, pc abs. know ledge about lightweight materials ( mucel, smc, natural fiber plastic parts in combination with foils lamination desirable.
•know ledge thermoforming img (in mould graining) for foil graining recommended.
